TT 2026: A Race Week to Remember
And the Boot That Was There for It
TT 2026 has delivered one of the most compelling race weeks in recent memory. Dean Harrison rewrote the record books with the fastest-ever opening lap of a TT race at 134.892mph on his way to a dominant Superbike victory, while Michael Dunlop cemented his status as the greatest TT rider of all time with a 34th career win in Supersport Race 1. Two riders. Two dominant performances. Sixty miles of Isle of Man public road at speeds that make your eyes water.
What does it take to ride at that level? Talent, obviously. A machine built to the limit. And kit that can handle the consequences if it all goes wrong, starting with the boots on your feet.

TT 2026: The Race Headlines
Harrison led every lap of the six-lap Superbike race from the front, building a 33-second advantage at his peak before crossing the line 15 seconds clear of Peter Hickman, with Dunlop completing the podium. His sixth TT win, and his first in the Superbike class, making him one of a rare group of riders to have conquered every solo TT category. Dunlop's Supersport win was equally ruthless. Nine consecutive victories in the class. Twenty-five seconds clear at the flag. Thirty-four career TT wins and counting. The man is in a category of his own.
Weather reshuffled the schedule throughout the week and the absence of 2025 Superbike winner Davey Todd, ruled out with serious injuries from Daytona. was felt in every session. But when the roads opened and the flag dropped, TT 2026 delivered everything the Mountain Course promises.
The Sidi Mag 2 Air: Built for Exactly This
Both Dean Harrison and Josh Brookes wore the Sidi Mag 2 Air at TT 2026. Not as sponsored riders. By choice. That distinction matters more than any marketing claim ever could.
At Isle of Man TT level, riders are covering 37.73 miles of public road, stone walls, village streets, open mountain, at an average of over 130mph. The gear they wear isn't chosen lightly. Every single piece has to earn its place, and the boots are no exception. Your feet are the first point of contact with the machine, permanently connected to the pegs from the moment you pull away. Lose that connection, lose that confidence, and you lose time. Or worse.
The Mag 2 Air is Sidi's top-spec race boot, and it's built around a simple idea: give the rider everything they need and nothing they don't. The breathable microfibre upper keeps things light without sacrificing structure. The flat inner sole gives a direct, uninterrupted connection to the bike, the kind of feedback that tells you exactly what the machine is doing beneath you, lap after lap. Arched bellows front and rear allow natural movement in a racing tuck without the boot fighting against you. And when the worst happens, ultra-high-density external protectors handle the impact load across the critical zones: toe, ankle, shin, while the NUUN 002M dial closure system locks everything in place with a three-point fit you can adjust on the fly without pulling over.
CE Level 2 certified. Italian-made. Worn by two of the fastest road racers on the planet at the world's most dangerous circuit. There's not much more to say.
The Isle of Man TT is the ultimate test of a rider and their kit. Every piece of gear on a TT rider's body has been chosen to handle the worst-case scenario at the world's most unforgiving circuit. The fact that two of this year's leading riders independently chose the Sidi Mag 2 Air speaks for itself. Whether you're chasing lap records or just chasing the horizon on a Sunday morning, your boots are the one piece of kit permanently between you and the road. Make them count.
